No presidential statement or White House press briefing was held on it. In fact, all that can be found about it on the official White House Web site is the Dec. 17 announcement and one-paragraph text of President Obama’s Executive Order 12425, with this innocuous headline:

“Amending Executive Order 12425 Designating Interpol as a public international organization entitled to enjoy certain privileges, exemptions, and immunities.”

In fact, this new directive from Obama may be the most destructive blow ever struck against American constitutional civil liberties. No wonder the White House said as little as possible about it.

Civil liberties? What civil liberties? Obama and his Leftist ilk want to Europeanize the United States on their way to Leninizing it with a little Stalin and Mussolini added for extra Communist flavor.

The Examiner offers more:

1. Obama has granted Interpol the ability to operate within the territorial limits of the United States without being subject to the same constitutional restraints that apply to all domestic law enforcement agencies such as the FBI.
2. Obama has exempted Interpol’s domestic facilities — including its office within the U.S. Department of Justice — from search and seizure by U.S. authorities and from disclosure of archived documents in response to Freedom of Information Act requests filed by U.S. citizens.

Obama has given an international law enforcement organization that is accountable to no other national authority the ability to operate as it pleases within our own borders, and he has freed it from the most basic measure of official transparency and accountability, the FOIA.

To cite only the most obvious example, giving Interpol free rein to act within this country could subject U.S. military, diplomatic, and intelligence personnel to the prospect of being taken into custody and hauled before the International Criminal Court as “war criminals.”

National Review Online’s Andy McCarthy writes, the White House must answer these questions:

1. Why should we elevate an international police force above American law?
2. Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies?
3. Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files that will be beyond the scrutiny of Congress, American law enforcement, the media, and the American people?

Why? We have incompetence at the White House, they distrust and wish to prosecute folks at the CIA and beyond for keeping America safe, and as we wrote above, they want to change the face of America and burn the US Constitution. Indeed!

Surfing through some TV channels I hit upon an ad on PBS touting a show about the demise of the polar bear and Arctic ice. Whoa’s me, Al Gore and his lying colleagues around the world are stilling attempting to have you forget about the false science surrounding global warming.

Mr. Gore is really more worried about the carbon credits he sells back to himself in his little scheme and companies who would sell their soul to cash in on fraudulent claims about the stuff you exhale. To really solve this “world problem” the folks perpetrating the lie should simply stop breathing, stop passing gas and go away.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service — as well as many polar-bear biologists — say that global warming is destroying so much of the bears’ icy habitat that the species could be nearly wiped out in the next 100 years. The US is pushing to ban global trade in polar bears at an international meeting in March.

Canada says it has “considerable concern” over polar bears’ future, but that it is unclear how much Arctic ice will be lost and what effect the melts will have on the wildlife that lives there. Imagine that. It’s all happening but it’s really “unclear” if it’s really happening.

Then there is Solomon Awa, a resident of Iqaluit in Canada’s Arctic northeast, who like many Inuit is seeing more polar bears than ever when he goes hunting.

“I’ve seen polar bears are not declining,” says Mr. Awa. “Actually, there are increasing numbers.”

Even the United Nations is suspecting a fraud. The UN administered organization that oversees trade in endangered species earlier this month criticized the US proposed polar-bear trade ban, noting that the proposal hadn’t shown the bears to be in danger now or that stopping trade would help them if they were.

Doesn’t anything require actual proof before you announce a ban, a tax, a regulation, an announcement to stop trade and the livelihood of an entire population of humans?

Now, if you’re a skeptic about all of this don’t announce it publicly or be prepared to be burned at the stake or at least abandoned by friends and family.

Veteran polar-bear biologist Mitchell Taylor says he has been ostracized by former colleagues for his views that global warming isn’t man-made, and therefore it is hard to predict what will happen to the climate or polar bears in the future.

“For the sake of polar bear conservation,” Mr. Taylor’s views “are extremely unhelpful,” fellow polar-bear biologist Andrew Derocher, wrote in an email this summer explaining why most of Mr. Taylor’s colleagues wouldn’t welcome him at an international meeting.

Mr. Taylor, in turn, has accused Mr. Derocher and others of twisting facts to make polar bears seem more endangered than they are. “That’s what we lost in this whole debate — perspective,” says Mr. Taylor.

Is anyone discussing those emails the pro-global warming scientists were hiding or deleting that questioned their results or disproved their theories? Why does PBS and much of the scientific community including faux scientists like Al Gore want all of the questions to go away?

Why? Because they are lying so the money for those carbon credits and government grants don’t dry up. These people will sell off their children to keep that money flowing in, they have zero credibility but have the audacity to keep moving their lies in front of the public.

Nearly everyone agrees that there are more polar bears now than when scientists first started counting:

Estimates put the population between 20,000 and 25,000, up from several thousand 50 years ago. In Canada, where two-thirds of the world’s bears live, most populations have grown during the past two or three decades. Arctic residents say they are now bumping into bears wherever they turn.

“A month ago I was down by my [hunting] camp and I saw five polar bears,” says Harry Flaherty, chairman of the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board, who lives in Iqaluit. “They were so fat, they could barely move.”

We understand Mr. Flaherty, Al Gore is so fat he can barely move but he has those private jets spewing carbon into the atmosphere to make him more mobile.

In recent years, the Arctic sea ice has been shrinking at the pace of 11% per decade, according to the U.S. National Snow and Ice Data Center in Boulder, Colo. In places like the western Hudson Bay, it is melting earlier and freezing later, making for skinnier, hungrier and ultimately fewer bears, scientists say. Although animals that live in colder areas are still doing well, global warming will eventually catch up to them too, says Mr. Derocher.

Polar bears move to where the food is, in this case those tasty seals. Polar bears use the ice to hunt for food and in the summer, when sea ice melts (Imagine that!) the bears move onto land and fast. Don’t Grizzlies hibernate as part of their natural lifestyle? Maybe these bears are attempting to escape researchers who scour the frozen seas by helicopter, tranquilizing and tagging every polar bear they see.

To save these bears maybe we should supply them with guns to shoot back at the researchers.  We’re all for the polar bears, it’s those pesky humans who are invading their territory. Indeed!

Barack Hussein Obama has already indicated he is uncomfortable with the word “Victory” when discussing Afghanistan and he announced upon taking office the use of “War on Terror” is not in vogue any longer.

Two terrorist attacks have taken place in the United States under Obama’s watch, this is not George W. Bush’s fault. One attack was at Ft. Hood, Texas and it took Obama days to visit the largest military base in the world and hours before he discussed anything with the press, only after joking with his media minions.

After Flight 253 was almost blown out of the sky while preparing to land in Detroit it took over 72 hours for Obama to break away from his golf game to address the American people who nearly had Christmas Day interrupted with the death of hundreds of innocent people.

Obama then announced that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was “an isolated extremist” and that he had already “been charged with attempting to destroy an aircraft.” Was there any charge of multiple attempted murder in this mishandling of a terrorist attack in the United States of America?

Obama treated the Flight 253 incident like a common law enforcement problem while referring to Abdulmutallab as the “suspect” five times and promised he would “not rest until we find all who were involved and hold them accountable.”

The fact is, Abdulmutallab’s attack is in no conceivable way “isolated” and very much part of al Qaeda’s larger war on the United States. That would be the “War on Terror.”

Homeland Security head, Janet Napolitano, appears like a buffoon on Sunday said “the system worked” when discussing Flight 253 only to backtrack on Monday. Obama finally admitted yesterday that “a systemic failure has occurred, four full days after Abdulmutallab’s attack.

Of course, Mr. Obama will avoid blame and as usual find someone in the intelligence community to throw under his well used bus. Here are some suspects that will be looking for work soon:

1. According to CBS News, as early as August of 2009 the Central Intelligence Agency was picking up information on a person of interest dubbed “The Nigerian,” suspected of meeting with “terrorist elements” in Yemen.
2. According to the Wall Street Journal, the father of Mr. Abdulmutallab warned the CIA of his son’s likely radicalization at the U.S. embassy in Abuja, Nigeria. That led to a broader gathering of agencies the next day, including the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the State Department, in which the information was shared.
3. According to CNN, information on Abdulmutallab, including his passport number and possible connection to extremists, had been sent to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, but it sat there for five weeks and was not disseminated.
4. Also according to the Wall Street Journal, the National Security Agency who had been monitoring former Guantanamo detainees in Yemen had communications intercepts suggesting a Nigerian was being prepped for a terror strike by al Qaeda operatives in that country.
5. The Washington Post reports that not only did the British government reject an Abdulmutallab visa application this May, but that British Home Secretary Alan Johnson said that U.S. officials should have been told about the rejection and that he believes they were.

So much “intelligence” so little time. We remind you, this is all occurring on Barack Hussein Obama’s watch, not to be confused with George W. Bush or for that matter, Dick Cheney. It might be nice to recall the days of Bill Clinton, watching golf, leaving fighter jets on the tarmac while Osama bin Laden was in sight. failing to give the order to kill. By the way, why hasn’t Obama captured or killed Mr. bin Laden, wasn’t he busy blaming George W. Bush for not capturing the terror mastermind at Tora Bora along with that military “expert” John Kerry?

Yemen is one center on the “War on Terror” but the Obama administration missed that fact. Osama bin Laden’s father was born in Yemen and al-Qaeda’s first attack came in Yemen in December 1992 when bin Laden’s followers bombed a hotel in Yemen that was used by US military personnel involved in supporting the humanitarian food relief flights to Somalia.

In October 2000, seventeen American sailors on board the USS Cole, were killed in an al-Qaeda bombing in the harbor of Aden, Yemen’s main port.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is not a “suspect” and his acts of terror are not “alleged.” This is not “Law and Order”, this is Jihad against America and innocent people around the world. These are not mere criminals, they are terrorists who attend training camps and study bomb making and are willing to commit suicide for their cause. These terrorists believe in mass murder, not robbing your local convenient store or gas station.

Treating terrorism as a local law enforcement responsibility, threatening CIA employees with criminal charges for interrogation methods deemed improper and going back to the days of the Clinton administration and Janet Reno is not the way to fight terrorism.

When you have Obama in denial, obfuscation and appearing delusional we must wonder when political correctness ends and the reality of worldwide terrorist networks are admitted as a real part of our world. Indeed!
