Democrats are a non-committal bunch at the least; they want votes on non-binding resolutions because they don’t have the guts to defund the war in Iraq. Democrats add pork to the actual funding bill requested by President Bush because they don’t support the troops but they do support payoffs to donors to their political campaigns.

Now Democrats are on one more fishing expedition, emboldened after the Libby trial, they continue going after the “big fish” in the Bush administration, particularly, Karl Rove. Democrats have wanted Rove served up like sushi for some time and with the recent spat over the Presidents right to “fire” U.S. Attorney’s they feel a need to issue subpoenas but so far they don’t have the intestinal fortitude to serve them.

Democrats are busy manufacturing crisis and scandal when neither exists. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) wants to run the White House on a daily basis from the Senate and a podium in front of the media. Democrats have created melodrama after melodrama to bring down a presidency but only get to the edge of the cliff before they jump off.

Democrats are working on the next election in their effort to make claims of “cover-ups” and “illegality” without evidence to support their banter; it’s no more than another fishing expedition to drum up support for 2008.

Democrats don’t want separation of government branches or equal coexistence; they want executive power over government so they can run all branches in their far left image.

James Madison said in 1789 in the first Congress, “no power could be more completely executive than that of appointing, inspecting and controlling those who had the immediate administration of the laws.” The Supreme Court has recognized that the power to remove is the power to control.

A constitutional showdown with the Whitehouse may ultimately produce blood, but it may be the blood of Democrats who are drawing lines in the sand and may decide to step over at their peril.
