The immense population of illegal immigrants, with no exact figure available, is staggering and removing them will be similar to the task of herding cats. Government has caused the problem, while businesses and private individuals have capitalized on a source of low-income workers and nanny’s.
Consumers have turned a blind eye or are completely ignorant of the fact that goods are cheaper because of low wages but the economic costs are enormous because of all the other factors caused by having non-citizens tax our system.
People who violate immigrations laws are more likely to violate other civil laws according to a recent study by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).
Adult illegal aliens represented 2.94 percent of the total adult population of the country in 2003. By comparison, the illegal alien prison population represented a bit more than 4.54 percent of the overall prison population. Therefore, deportable criminal aliens were more than half again as likely to be incarcerated as their share of the population.
Hazelton, Pennsylvania Hazleton began a high-profile campaign to rid itself of illegal immigrants and is now at trial. Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta, says illegal immigrants are destroying the quality of life in his small northeastern Pennsylvania city, and is now fighting the ACLU and Hispanic groups who contend that the new rules are unconstitutional.
Fighting crime in our streets has now become “unconstitutional” but being in the United States illegally allows individuals their day in court, supported by left-wing socialist groups who would rather defend against citizens than have the rule of law enforced.
Local law enforcement officials have woken up to the fact that the growing populations of illegal residents are more likely to commit crimes, but we are told they do the jobs Americans don’t want. A nice excuse but it doesn’t fly in Peoria, nor does it explain why prison populations have an abundance of illegal aliens in residence.
Hazleton’s Illegal Immigration Relief Act would impose fines on landlords who rent to illegal immigrants and deny business permits to companies that employ them. A companion measure requires tenants to register with City Hall.
Hazelton made changes to its laws in response to a number of high-profile crimes involving illegal immigrants. Two illegal immigrants from the Dominican Republic were charged in May 2006 with shooting and killing a 29-year-old man, and a 14-year-old boy was arrested for firing a gun at a playground.
In court papers, Hazleton said illegal immigrants have committed at least 47 crimes since last spring, consuming much of the city’s police overtime budget. Illegal immigrants were the subject of one-third of all drug arrests in 2005, and they have driven up the costs of health care and education, the city said.
Immigration reform should not have become a political issue for politicians to use for votes, it should have been an enforcement issue that got results with a border control priority to close off the United States to illegal aliens, terrorists, human and drug smugglers.
Immigration reform should not be easy street for anyone in America illegally. Recently the justice department has concluded some sting operations that have resulted in exposing large and small businesses that are using illegal citizens for labor without ensuring they had the proper paperwork to be in this country. This is only the tip of an enormous ice berg of illegal immigrants working and living in the United States. It’s too little much too late.
At the same time, Bank of America is passing credit cards to illegal immigrants, further exasperating an already dire situation and encouraging more people to cross the borders illegally. There is no justification for not following the rule of law and any reform that provides a continued free pass to citizenship is hypocritical at best and only a political method of securing votes.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV.) and Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-MA.) pledged on Wednesday to pass comprehensive immigration reform before the chamber’s August recess. The Democrats’ legislation claims to provide illegal immigrants residing in the United States with a path to “earned citizenship” while ramping up enforcement of U.S. borders — but it would not amount to amnesty for lawbreakers, they said.
If lawbreakers aren’t provided amnesty then are Reid and Kennedy proposing jail terms for these people? Doubtful, as this would cost them and their liberal and other political friends votes. Unfortunately, President Bush supports Reid and Kennedy while ignoring the Conservative base and the rule of law.

The Hazleton story about Illegal aliens, really makes me sad that we have such ignorant politicians who could not care less if the ACLU and all of the other Anti-American unions take over our beautiful country. We let a bunch of lazy people make laws to take away from those of us, who are educated, hardworking and homeowners, who pay our taxes honestly. And instead of improving our own way of life, we have to give this money to those worthless scam artists, so they can drive late model cars and wear the best designer clothing, yet at the same time they claim to be poor and oppressed.

The headlines read today
Protesters take to streets to demand path to citizenship for illegals
and that there will be marches across the US “demanding a path to citizenship for an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants who hope that nationwide marches on Tuesday will spur Congress to act before the looming presidential primaries take over the political landscape”. And what right do they have to make such demands!!!
Personally, I hope that the feds start arresting thos illegal immigrants and ship them back where they came from! We have ENOUGH crime in this country. Encouraging and allowing people who legally DO NOT BELONG HERE, to remain is outrageous.
We are allowing them to break the law and then compensating them for it! How is it the US expects it’s BIRTHRIGHT citizens to follow the laws, when there is ALWAYS an exscuse for allowing aliens to stay and break them… the second they put foot on our great country’s soil!?!?!?!
They sneak, they lie and they cheat. They teach their children to do the same. IS that what we want in the United States???

My family heritage includes immigrants from Hungary and american indian tribes, Blackfoot and Osage…I am 50% So, our government rewards those who do not belong here or come here legally. Back when Ellis Island was operational, there were intensive exams for incoming immigrants to go thru before admittance to our great country. Physical and mental exams. If those tests were not passed, those detemined to be unfit were returned to their port of departure or country they came from. Perhaps some of the rules of the past were not such a terrible thing?
Excuses that are constantly made about US citizens not stepping up to take jobs that illegal aliens take is pathetic. Is that what we allow our children to do, or do we teach them they have to work their way up> With all the welfare being given out, why is it our government does not put their foot down and enforce that those people who have been on welfare HAVE to work at places and things that the gov is so quick to say the illegals will? If you want the money welfare recipients… then EARN your keep, just as the rest of us BIRTHRIGHT citizens have to! If that means working in a meat packing plant, or at McDonald’s…just do it!
The people American’s hire to take care of their children who are illegal should be fined. They should look to who they are allowing their children to be taken car of by…people who are breaking the law! This lax attitude encourages improper behavior and crime stats to rise…both from illegal and legal citizens!
The criminals who are illegal get a free ride…on the taxpayers of the US! WHo do you think allows them their free 3 square meals, bedding, health care, educations, TV access, showers, laundry, housing? WE DO PEOPLE! WAKE UP! Our country has been deemed the melting pot. We have been historically generous in allowing foreigners to come here to live, work and to be safe. But… when this country saw fit to tighten the reins years ago, they did not continue the necessary things to uphold that practice. It fell thru the cracks because of politicians, and greed.
WHEN DOES IT STOP!!!!! It won’t be easy…but it CAN be done! How many times do you have to take a firm hand as a parent? How many times do you have to say ‘no’, when it is causing you to be uneasy, but do it KNOWING it is the right thing in the long run? The bill of rights allows the citizens of this country, freedom of speech and the right to peaceably assemble. Than why do we allow so many people who are not legal citizens the same rights. Become a legal U.S. citizen and than you have those rights. The government needs to reprimand all those who are here illegally. They are not U.S. citizens so they should not have the same rights.

How to help stop Illegal Immigration by Boycotting American Strawberries in 2007
Yesterday Fox News reported that our nation’s agricultural industry was facing a manpower shortage because there weren’t enough illegal immigrants to pick the produce. Shepherd Smith said that some of the crops could rot in the fields, and then the broadcast interviewed a strawberry farmer who said we actually needed more immigrants or that his crop wouldn’t get harvested.
More illegal immigrants? Just how come there aren’t enough illegal immigrants? We already have 12 million to 23 million illegal immigrants in this country, so where are they when you need them? I’ll tell you where they are. They’re not picking our crops because they’ve gone after higher paying jobs in construction and elsewhere. And now we’re supposed to allow another big flood of illegals in the country to save the profits of our strawberry farmers!!!
The agricultural industry created this illegal immigrant problem to begin with. It’s now estimated that the illegal immigrant population is going to grow from the present 23 million to 60 million by 2013. That means we’re going to have an additional 37 million illegals in this country in just 6 short years. Man! Those are some pretty expensive strawberries!
Well I say, let’s take a stand against the agricultural industry and take our country back by letting their strawberries rot! Peak strawberry season runs from late May and June so don’t buy any strawberries throughout the rest of 2007. We can certainly live without their strawberries.
If this works, we’ll boycott American lettuce and other produce.
And don’t worry about your food prices going up. Ironically, Mexico is an agriculturally rich nation and it will actually be cheaper to have our produce imported from that country than to let our greedy farmers turns us into an over-populated third world nation.
So pass this email on to everyone you know!
Let’s stick together and defend our nation by saying to hell with America’s traitorous farm industry. Let their damn fields rot!

So, where were we when Congressman Sensenbrenner and the House tried to get “The Border Protection, Anti-terrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005″ passed?
The Senate defeated it when all of the illegal immigrants took to the streets in protest.

This Act is exactly what I hear everyone screaming for. It’s already on paper…we just need to take it off the dusty shelf and put it into law.
Kennedy’s proposal is a result of the immigration reform protests by the illegals. Americans didn’t take to the street to protest the protests. Instead, we sat silent and let our government think that the Immigration Control Act of 2005 wasn’t what we wanted either. Please understand, this Act is what put all the illegals into an uproar. It’s what America needs. Read it. And if you agree, pass it along to EVERYONE you can think of.

Immigration Law, Illegal Aliens and Crime
Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, “Improper Entry by Alien,” any citizen of any country other than the United States who:
Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;
has committed a federal crime.
“Any alien who is present in the United States in violation of this Act or any other law of the United States is deportable.” Nationality Act Section 237 (a)(1)(B)
Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.
In addition to sneaking into the country in violation of the immigration law that requires that aliens be documented for legal entry (referred to as “entry without inspection — EWI”), others enter with legal documentation and then violate the terms on which they have been admitted by taking jobs that are not authorized or overstaying the authorized period of stay in the country.
The list below are all crimes involving illegal immigration:
(1) Violating the immigration law is a FEDERAL CRIME
(2) Forging documents is a FEDERAL FELONY CRIME
(3) Passing forged documents is a FEDERAL FELONY CRIME
(4) Stealing ID is a FEDERAL FELONY CRIME
(5) Using stolen ID is a FEDERAL FELONY CRIME
Here are just a few studies that put illegal alien crime in focus:
A US GAO study found in a study population of 55,322 illegal aliens incarcerated, on average, each had been arrested 8 times for a total arrest figure of at least 459,614 times. If that isn’t astounding enough, these 55,322 illegals in the study population had been arrested for committing 700,000 criminal offenses, which averages 13 crimes per illegal alien. So, each illegal alien incarcerated had been arrested 8 times and had committed at least 13 crimes.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, in 2005, 25% of prisoners in federal prisons were illegal aliens, and 4% were legal aliens. This proportion has not gone down; if anything, it has gone up markedly. Bill O’Reilly is on record more recently stating that illegal aliens account for 32% of the federal and state prison population.
According to the well-respected U.S. Center for Immigration Studies (www.cis.org), incarcerated convicted illegal aliens make up 29 percent of federal, state and local prisons at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. This number doubles when the costs for apprehension, the justice system, public defenders, interpreters, prosecutors and the courts add to the total.
Illegals represent about 8 percent of Arizona’s population and the Arizona Department of Corrections reports that Mexican nationals make up 12 percent of the state’s 37,200-inmate prison population.
Undocumented aliens, mostly from Mexico and Central America, now total 1953 inmates in the Maricopa County Sheriff’s jail system. That number represents 21 percent of the overall inmate population of men and women housed in the nation’s third largest jail system. Sheriff Joe Arpaio says that is just small part of the story about those incarcerated in his jails. He says that recent figures show that serious crime (class four felonies and above) are committed substantially by illegal aliens. During two recent surveys, between 27 and 53 percent of all suspects booked into the jail on serious felonies had immigration holds placed on them. The vast majority of those with holds were in the United States illegally. According to the Sheriff’s figures, illegal alien inmate population numbers have grown steadily in Arizona and other border states over the last several years. In March 2005, the illegal alien population in Arpaio’s jails totaled approximately 700. (2/28/07)
A new study shows one in five inmates in North Carolina metropolitan jails was not born in this country. The Sheriff’s Association believes a large number of those inmates are here illegally as well. (2/21/07)
The conservative Federation for Immigration Reform contends that while illegal immigrants made up 3 percent of the total U.S. population in 2003 they made up 5 percent of the total prison population.

Illegal aliens are killing more Americans than the Iraq war, says a new report from Family Security Matters that estimates some 2,158 murders are committed every year by illegal aliens in the U.S. The group says that number is more than 15 percent of all the murders reported by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the U.S. and about three times the representation of illegal aliens in the general population.
The report from FSM estimates that the 267,000 illegal aliens currently incarcerated in the nation are responsible for nearly 1,300,000 crimes, ranging from drug arrests to rape and murder. In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.

One thing that is never even mentioned by the champions of the illegal aliens nor is factored into any crime studies is the fact that ALL illegal aliens have a 3 – 5 crimes committed head start on American citizens (see the 5 point list above).
Do you ever hear an acknowledgement from the illegal alien facilitators of the more than 50,000 Americans that have been killed by illegal aliens through murder, manslaughter and drunk driving just since 9/11/01? Of course not, that doesn’t fit within their pre-determined conclusion.
Furthermore, legalizing an illegal alien’s presence in America by rewarding their illegal behavior through amnesty is not the way to build a good system of law and order. It only invites more criminal activity and avoidance of our laws.
The central question for everyone, including the facilitators, illegal alien advocates and ‘no human being is illegal’ compassion crowd is this…Why should even ONE American suffer a crime OF ANY SORT at the hands of an illegal alien? With border security and zero tolerance for illegal immigration, crimes against our citizens are 100% preventable.
