The current occupant of the White House, owned by the people of America is busy playing the race card and waving the white flag in Afghanisan. I take both issues very personally.
Obama’s Race Card:
In a press conference otherwise devoted to trying to save his sinking health-care plan, Barack Obama said the Cambridge police “acted stupidly” in arresting Harvard Professior Henry Louis Gates, although Obama stipulated twice that he didn’t know all the facts.
Obama promised a new “post-racialism.” But when a black pal was arrested by a white policeman for disorderly conduct, Obama’s response was pure old race politics.
“Now, I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that, but I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry; number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home; and number three, what I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there is a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. That’s just a fact.” (Emphasis LCs)
Plain and simple, Obama had no business placing himself in the middle of a local police matter and using a press conference to demonstrate his racism.
Obama’s Afghanistan Retreat:
Obama has put securing Afghanistan near the top of his foreign policy agenda, but “victory” in the war-torn country isn’t necessarily the United States’ goal, he said Thursday in a TV interview. 
“I’m always worried about using the word ‘victory,’ because, you know, it invokes this notion of Emperor Hirohito coming down and signing a surrender to MacArthur,” Obama told ABC News. (More on this later)
The enemy facing U.S. and Afghan forces isn’t so clearly defined, he explained.
“We’re not dealing with nation states at this point. We’re concerned with Al Qaeda and the Taliban, Al Qaeda’s allies,” he said. “So when you have a non-state actor, a shadowy operation like Al Qaeda, our goal is to make sure they can’t attack the United States.”
The United States and Afghanistan are struggling to shore up security in the country, amid increasing violence. The Obama administration this year stepped up U.S. military operations in the country as the U.S. military presence begins to wind down in Iraq. This author has a very personal stake in Afghanistan and VICTORY IS THE GOAL.
“We are confident that if we are assisting the Afghan people and improving their security situation, stabilizing their government, providing help on economic development … those things will continue to contract the ability of Al Qaeda to operate. And that is absolutely critical,” Obama told ABC News.
Military operations are always about success, VICTORY, but Obama is too insensitive and too ideological as a Marxist/Fascist hybrid to worry about the US Armed Forces.
Historical note to Mr. Obama: In fact, Emperor Hirohito didn’t even sign the document that finalized the surrender of Japan to General MacArthur. That duty was performed by Japan’s Foreign Minister, Mamoru Shigemitsu, and one of its generals, Yoshijir Mumezu.
Obama is a total embarrassment to the Office of the President of the United States, pretends to know something about history and is a Moonbat. Indeed!

Is it your pride, or your arrogance, that brings this sort of rant out of you? Obama is an articulate man, and he doesn’t use other people’s words. The last thing John McCain could do to Barack Obama was get him to start using his (McCain’s) vocabulary. It was quite the opposite, McCain ended up using “change” as often as he did “country.” There’s no way you’re going to put words in Obama’s mouth, especially not “victory.” The idea that you can have a victory in a 21st century war is preposterous. I’m sure there is a list of mission objectives for AfPak but nobody wins a modern war, it’s an atrocity every time, abhorrent and uniquely terrible. There are no more “good wars,” Liberally Conservative. There is certainly no American supremacy to defend. Our military is massive and some always want to push us into wars. Our brilliant President is making sure that the wars your kind start are defined on his own terms, and not yours. He wants war to be over. Don’t you? “Victory” is a cheap way of saying “We’re done stomping around the sandbox, we’ve knocked over everything, mom is dragging us home BUT I SECRETLY WANT TO STAY ALL NIGHT” Regime change is the Imperial Urge. Business interests in flak jackets, our poor soldiers did no sign up to be misused, deployed senselessly, or to have their trust violated so egregiously by your arch-hero George W. Bush. On the topic of military policy, will the hawks of the past decade please sit down?

Me arrogant? I’m an eloquent speaker and without a teleprompter. I can wow the crowds and convince them they can sell ice cubes in the Artic, which is not melting.
Obama is a goof. When off the script he is a babbling idiot and makes George W. Bush look like a top speaker for the Rotary circuit. At least Mr. Bush could fly fighter jets at mach spead, while Obama lies to American’s and the world at mach speed.
I don’t put words in Obama’s mouth, I quote him directly because it’s easier to demonstrate he is a Marxist/Fascist hybrid.
There are good wars and bad wars but you don’t go to war without your number one goal being total and complete VICTORY!
Afghanistan is Obama’s war and he needs to step up and defend the real men on the ground, not the line cooks and propagandists.
If Obama would be so kind to provide all of his grades at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard I’m sure I could prove I’m much more capable.
There, that’s more than Obama has given except we know he did write one and only one law review at Harvard before becoming president of the review and then he wrote none.
And…don’t ever come here and mock soldiers, sailors, Marines or airmen in any form because I will come to Oregon, hunt you down like al-Qaeda and fix your cowardly ass. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME YOU JERK!

Obama is not post-racial. He and many others played the race card last year during the election cycle…indicating his rather questionable belief about race relations. He even lied about Selma, Alabama. “stupid or stupidly” are not presidential words nor should they ever be used against law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line for us everyday. My brother-in-law and other friends are law enforcement officers….Obama’s comment was disgusting and may have actually been an insight to what Obama feels about law enforcement in his private life. I am so glad it is now public. His numbers are really tanking now…
By the way asshat…don’t you ever say anything against the military again. I am a veteran, disabled by my service to this country so you can come and spout your hatred, sick hatred…
Obama is ruining this country at every turn…but “we the people” like my friend LC are going to take it back. Fortunately for you we won’t stomp on First Amendment Rights like yours because we are PROUD OF OUR COUNTRY and the TRUE PATRIOTS in this country today!
