Most voters want “change” and Barack Hussein Obama has promised that he will deliver “change.” Tired of Iraq, tired of a dragging economy, tired of what the mainstream media tells them, voters are prepared to be further reeled in by “Obama eloquence.”

We’re still looking for a theme, a direction, a solid message from John McCain and in a townhall debate Mr. McCain may do very well on issues and debunking Mr. Obama for what he is, an empty suit with little experience and a very Liberal voting record during his limited career in public office.

John McCain must learn quickly that “my friends” doesn’t mean his pals on the other side of the aisle or the RINO’s who vote for spending like Liberals.

Barack Obama will continue to attempt his escape from the past with speeches designed to pull the “typical white person” over to his side, convincing them that his brand of “change” is better than the status quo of the Beltway. Unfortunately, many voters will buy into this brand of “Houdini” politics and vote for something they don’t really want, but don’t really care. It’s all about change, not substance.

Barack Hussein Obama is so good at his message that we still don’t know much about the man who would be President. Republicans must figure out a way to capitalize on the Obama gap between the spin and substance, or they’ll receive a back row seat at his inauguration or no invitation at all.

Mr. Obama “deplores” big money and lobbyists but he is the cash cow of the 2008 election cycle and is about to back out from his pledge to accept public financing. George Soros is smiling somewhere as his 527 machines are at work bringing in more and more money to finance Socialism.

Here is a sample of the Obama “Smoke and Mirrors” routine:

• Obama will raise taxes, but promises to give back to middle-class voters.
• Obama is against special interests, but supports bloated farm bills while he does union bidding on trade.
• Obama likes government-run health-care, but for now promises simply to help pay soaring private doctor’s bills.
• Obama will punish companies that take part in the global economy, but reward those who stay at home.

The Obama “gotcha” is tax, spend and national security and these are huge openings for John McCain to plug with his policies of lower taxes for all, lower health-care costs for all, more trade to help the US economy and create jobs.

Popular to many American’s is the Obama promise to end the war in Iraq but the Obama solution is not to fight the war on terror, which by the way is succeeding, but to surrender while doing lunch with our enemies.

Continuing his “Houdini” act Mr. Obama has promised security for Israel but wishes to appease their enemy. Mr. Obama wants to disarm America as a carrot to those who wish to build nuclear weapons so they may end America.

Mr. Obama can’t explain away his change in position, his Liberal voting record, his associations with Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, domestic terrorists William Ayers (and here) and Bernadine Dohrn, or recently convicted Tony Rezko.

It’s time to remove the Obama ”smoke and mirrors”, take the gloves off and deliver a knockout punch to the Leftist wunderkind Barack Hussein Obama. America’s freedom depends on it. Indeed!
