Obama’s Education Plan – Connecting the Terrorist Dots (Part I)

It’s been written here with plenty of links to support the fact that Barack Hussein Obama and unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers were not two ships passing in the dark. By the way, Mr. Ayers is married to convicted domestic terrorist Bernadine Dorhn.

Simply type in the names of Obama’s colleagues in our site search box and you will find a wealth of information about Ayers, Obama, and the education plan of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. (The pertinent links are at the end of this post)

Why is education so important? Obama claims he will “fix” the Bush/Kennedy “no child left behind” initiative. Let us isolate, one more time, what the education goals of Chicago Anneberg Challenge were.

Mr. Ayers is the founder of the “small schools” movement (heavily funded by CAC), in which individual schools built around specific political themes push students to “confront issues of inequity, war, and violence.” He believes teacher education programs should serve as “sites of resistance” to an oppressive system. (His teacher-training programs were also CAC funded.) The point, says Mr. Ayers in his “Teaching Toward Freedom,” is to “teach against oppression,” against America’s history of evil and racism, thereby forcing social transformation.

Ayers received between $40-$50 million to start the CAC and Barack Obama was assigned the task of getting the job done. Between 1995 and 1999, Obama distributed the $50 million and raised another $60 million from other civic groups to augment it. In doing so, he was following Ayers’s admonition to grant the funds to “external” organizations, like American Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) to pair with schools and conduct programs to radicalize the students and politicize them.

Learning math, science and reading were not important factors in the Ayers-Obama education format, teaching their radical political agenda was.

The Consortium on Chicago School Research at The University of Chicago performed a extensive analysis of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

CAC’s in-house evaluators comprehensively studied the effects of its grants on the test scores of Chicago public-school students. They found no evidence of educational improvement. The study from the “Consortium” is back and forth and has refused to pin down specifics and does not mention Mr. Obama. One link to the CAC no longer functions.

Refusing to examine Obama directly is political and a farce because we all know that the only CEO experience for Senator Obama was at CAC and it was a complete failure and only helped promote the Ayers-Obama radical agenda.

In November 2006 Ayers took his and Obama’s radical educational views to Caracas, Venezuela and Hugo Chavez.

With Chavez at his side during the World Education Forum Mr. Ayers voiced his support for education in the South American dictatorship. Ayers voiced his support for “the political educational reforms under way here in Venezuela under the leadership of President Chavez. We share the belief that education is the motor-force of revolution. . . . I look forward to seeing how . . . all of you continue to overcome the failures of capitalist education as you seek to create something truly new and deeply humane.”

Ayers told the great humanitarian Chavez:

“Teaching invites transformations, it urges revolutions large and small. La educacion es revolucion.”

It is that form of socialist revolution that Ayers, and Obama, have worked to bring to America. Ayers, now a tenured Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago, works to educate teachers in socialist revolutionary ideology, urging that it be passed on to impressionable students.

As Sol Stern points out,

“Ayers and his education school comrades are explicit about the need to indoctrinate public school children in the belief that America is a racist, militarist country and that the capitalist system is inherently unfair and oppressive.”

Chicago’s current mayor, Richard M. Daley, has employed Ayers as a teacher trainer for Chicago’s public schools and consulted him on the city’s education-reform plans.

One of Ayers’ descriptions for a course called “Improving Learning Environments” says a prospective K-12 teacher needs to “be aware of the social and moral universe we inhabit and . . . be a teacher capable of hope and struggle, outrage and action, teaching for social justice and liberation.”
