Keep in mind, Barack Hussein Obama is not Muslim and we are not allowed to use his middle name or suggest he has any Muslim background in his past.
But wait, the Liberal Nut-House of The New York Times reports on the fact that Mr. Obama has yet to visit a mosque.
While the senator has visited churches and synagogues, he has yet to appear at a single mosque. Muslim and Arab-American organizations have tried repeatedly to arrange meetings with Mr. Obama, but officials with those groups say their invitations–unlike those of their Jewish and Christian counterparts–have been ignored.
The Obama campaign has refused Rep. Keith Ellison’s offer to speak at an Iowa mosque, “because it might stir controversy.” Ellison, from Minnesota, is the one of two Muslim’s in Congress, the other is Rep. Andre Carson of Indiana .
“I will never forget the quote,” Mr. Ellison said, leaning forward in his chair as he recalled the aide’s words.
“He said, ‘We have a very tightly wrapped message.’ ”
I should be careful and not accuse Mr. Obama of hypocrisy or, OMG, lying! Not to worry I will carefully corroborate this story with links, accurate quotes and of course, the truth about Mr. Obama.
“All you have to say is Barack Hussein Obama,” said Arsalan Iftikhar, a human rights lawyer and contributing editor at Islamica Magazine.
“You don’t even have to say ‘Muslim.’ ”
Let’s see now, we have Mr. Obama not allowing two Muslim women wearing head scarves to appear behind Mr. Obama at a rally in Detroit. Then we have Ben LaBolt, a campaign spokesman for Obama who says:
“Our campaign has made every attempt to bring together Americans of all races, religions and backgrounds to take on our common challenges.”
Except when it’s inconvenient we ignore the facts, tell a little spin story to relieve the pressure and then if someone accuses us of a lie we send out our surrogates to denounce their every word. Imagine that!
Mr. LaBolt added that with religious groups, the campaign had largely taken “an interfaith approach, one that may not have reached every group that wishes to participate but has reached many Muslim Americans.”
Except when reaching out means not allowing certain groups in traditional dress to appear on camera behind the “Messiah Candidate.” Indeed!
