These are actual voting records and grades not innuendo.

Swift Boats had the facts on John Kerry and so did this website.

In fact, we had a copy of the Navy Secretary (under Carter) signature and form releasing Kerry from possible trial for treason because he protested the war with Winter Soldier while still in the reserves.

Carter saved Kerry's cowardly hide.

If this is the website they are referring to Sen Obama, Sen Biden and Sen Lieberman have and "F" rating. However, Sen McCain and Sen Clinton have and "F-" rating. However, based on the actual voting records I can understand the F- for Sen Clinton but there is no rational to rating McCain as more anti-gn than Obama, Biden & Lieberman this makes no sense and the methodology of these ratings seems questionable as I would think McCain historiaclly should be a "B" or "C" and Obama should be a "C" or "D" depending on if one feels the manufacturer liability protection should be included...

I am not personally familiar with all the the votes referenced to all of these other issues above.

"-Senator Obama supported the interests of the Gun Owners of America 0 percent." This statement is factually incorrect.

During Sen. Obama term only 4 gun-related votes occured in the Senate.

1. On 7/25/08 BOTH Sen Obama and Sen McCain (as well as Sen Clinton) voted "Yes" on S. 397 Child Safety Lock Amendment

2. On 7/29/05 Both Sen Obama and Sen Clinton voted against the Firearms Manufacturers Protection bill. McCain voted for this one. NOTE: BOTH Sen Biden and Sen Lieberman (Sen McCain's supporter and almost VP candidte) also voted against this one.

3. On 7/13/06 BOTH Sen Obama and Sen McCain voted for HR 5441 Firearm Confiscation Prohibition Amendment. Sen Clinton voted AGAINST this one. [S Amdt 4615 to HR 5441: To prohibit the confiscation of a firearm during an emergency or major disaster if the possession of such firearm is not prohibited under Federal or State law.]. This was the most critical attack on gun owners during this Obama's term and BOTH Obama and McCain both sided with gunowner's. Hillary (who claimed to be pro gun in the Pennsylvannia primary) voted against this one.
NOTE: Sen Biden the Democratic V.P. Candidate also voted YES on this one.

4. On 2/25/08 there was S Amdt 4070 Prohibiting Funds in the Bill S 1200 from Being Used to Decrease Gun Ownership. Neither Sen Obama, Sen Mccain nor Sen Clinton bothered to show up to vote for this one... I guess they were all busy campaigning.

Not sure how to count to "no show" by all three significant presidential candidate senators for 2008. counting the 3 votes they showed up for would put Sen clinton at 0% pro gun, Sen Obama at 33% pro gun and Sen McCain 66% pro gun. with Obama voting with McCain on 2 out of the 3 votes or 66% of the time.

As a pro-gun libertarian I do not feel the bill to protect firearms manufacturers from civil liabilities was a direct attack on gun onwership itself. Techically, I side with McCain on this one but am not as disturbed by Obama, Biden and Lieberman voting against this one as I am Sen Clinton's vote against prohibiting firearms confiscation during declared emergencies clearly violating the 2nd ammendment in my opinon.

I am not sure where the "Gun Owners of America" are getting their facts from but it is obviously not the actual voting records of the candidates.

I have read alot of "opinions" mis-stated as facts on these positions that the uniformed public seems to believe without questioning. I am tiring of the EXTREME liberal AND extreme CONSERVSATIVE disinformation campaigns (basically lieing). I wish we could deport all the extremeist MoveOn.org, Swiftboat Veterans for Truth, et al. liars so I don't have to waste my time figuring out what they are or not not lieing about. If they wish to express opinions one way or the other that is fine. But please get your "FACTS" straight.

[...] Mr. Obama has chosen to deflect his inexperience, not this is a good thing. I look at his inexperience but also Obama’s short but very Liberal voting record and his stance on issue that do, in fact, label him as Liberal, very Liberal with his current outlook in the Senate. “I know I haven’t spent a lot of time learning the ways of Washington. But I’ve been there long enough to know that the ways of Washington must change,” Mr. Obama said. “Each and every time, a new generation has risen up and done what’s needed to be done,” he said. “Today we are called once more — and it is time for our generation to answer that call.” [...]
