The record of the speeches she's given is being treated like it was testimony in a courtroom, or a decision she wrote. She will make it to SCOTUS, not for the whining of everyone right of Carter. There's no excuse for using someone's words -out of context- to make it sound like they are saying the opposite of the thing they said. Ex: Obama says "I love peanut-butter. It goes great with jelly.".... Hanitized version: "Apparently our elitist President Obama has some 'preferences'.. (clip) "I love peanut-butter." (end clip) Well, Mr. President goes on to say a lot of things, but he never once mentions that the best accompaniment to Peanut Butter is, of course.. JELLY. goodnight folks."

Nothing is missing, nothing is propaganda except Obama and his ilk.

I have provided links to experts, yes legal experts.

Even a link where Liberal law professors are mad at Sotomayor for not defending her Liberal views as previously spoken and her rulings.

One of these professors even went so far as to say she may be committing perjury.

And...no one is "whining." So comment and quit shooting the messenger or get blocked. Read the comment rules if you wish to participate.

Much of what you say is good argument but don't come after the author here with insults. Flaming gets you banned.

Paraphrasing is not an attempt to cut something out of context. She is simply lying in testimony. Her record speaks loud and clear and now she would like it both ways.

Unfortunately she will make it to SCOTUS.

Also, that quote about importing foreign law is incomplete, a technique called Bowdlerizing, where you show only part of a quote to make a person sound bad. Hannity does this on his show every night, it's a great propaganda technique that is becoming so common in right-wing circles you'd think it was cheating on your wife or secretly being gay. The end of that quote involves her emphasizing that there is no legal way to use the law of other nations as precedent. Of course, if you'd printed that part you wouldn't have a reason to whine, so it makes sense you didn't.
