Last evening I heard Mark Levine tell his radio audience to forget Socialism, it’s Fascism in America today. After reading Jonah Goldberg’s book Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning, Mr. Levine in spot on.
Democratic staffers released the final version of the stimulus bill at about 11 pm last night after delaying the release for hours to put it into a format which people cannot “search” on their home computers.
Instead of publishing the bill as a regular internet document — which people can search by “key words” and otherwise, the Dems took hours to convert the final bill from the regular searchable format into “pdf” files, which can be read but not searched.
Three of the four .pdf files had no text embedded, just images of the text, which did not permit text searches of the bill. That move to conceal the bill’s provisions had not been remedied this morning at the time of publication of this article. (You can find the entire bill on the House Appropriations [http://appropriations.house.gov/] website.)
Human Events offers a peek at what Congress is hiding:
The provision would overturn state laws and constitutions, intervening directly in the state’s government to give the legislature the power to overturn a government’s decision when a Governor chooses not to accept federal money from the spending bill.
This is one more example of the Leftists in federal government to run over State’s Rights and reserve more power in the beltway, which is looking more like Chicago’s City Council each day. Indeed!

Oklahoma, New Hampshire and Washington State are fighting hard to reassert their state rights. If you get a chance go look at their bills….
Oklahoma House passed it 93-2, the Senate which is 24-24 Rep-Dem sent it to a rules committee it languished there. But the author of the bill intends to get it passed!
Washington State is trying to get theirs into committee….with a Democratic led state Congress who knows!
New Hampshire is reasserting their rights under Jeffersonian principles.
There are many more states that are considering similar legislation!

I agree it is fascism. If you haven’t figured it out I am a loyal fan. Your perspective is refreshing! And I love your Moonbat of the Week! It often gives me a good chuckle. I usually get to read your blog with my morning coffee. Thanks and please keep up the good work!

Thank you for the nice compliment.
My next “Moonbat” is an all time favorite who keeps coming back for more.

Micheal,
I am a staunch Republican and I think you ought to throw out the three, so called Republicans, that voted for the stimulus bill. They have no right to be called Republications. Get rid of them.
