Or would Obama and his ilk tell the truth to the American public?
Answers: Yes and No in that order.
From the Washington Examiner:
Natural forces as opposed to human activity are largely responsible for temperature fluctuations, according to a new study the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) released today as Congress prepares to vote on
global warming legislation.
Internal email messages show the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) suppressed the report and silenced the author because the scientific evidence did not square with the Obama administration’s agenda of regulating carbon dioxide, CEI claims. The EPA has become overly reliant upon outdated information from the United Nations and has ignored major new scientific developments, the censored study concludes.
“While we hoped that the EPA would release the final report, we’re tired of waiting for this agency to become transparent, even though its administrator has been talking transparency, since she took office,” said CEI General Counsel Sam Kazman.
New scientific data highlighted in the report shows that ocean cycles and solar cycles are probably the most important factors behind temperature fluctuations. Moreover, satellite information now indicates there is little chance of endangerment from greenhouse gases, according to the report.
Some of the major developments overlooked by EPA official include a continued decline in global temperatures, an emerging consensus that hurricanes will not be more frequent or intense and new studies that demonstrate water vapor will have a moderating influence on temperature.
Going forward, CEI has called upon the EPA to independently analyze the science and to become more transparent in its own reporting.
The censored report, by Alan Carlin and John Davidson, points out that the EPA has not done its own evaluation of the global warming theory. Rather, it has relied on analyses by others, mostly the U.N.’s IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report.
That report, however, was a political document and not a scientific one. Knowing that current scientific research disproves the anthropogenic global warming theory, the U.N. ordered that no recent research be considered in the IPCC report.
Carlin and Davidson recite the scientific work that shows rather clearly that human activity is a minor factor in climate change, which has been occurring from the beginning of Earth’s history to the present.
Obama’s EPA suppressed the Carlin/Davidson report and tried to keep it secret for political reasons. The two scientists’ superior declines to make their report public because “the administration has decided to move forward on endangerment.”
The emails obtained by the CEI are revealing. Here, the two scientists’ superior declines to make their report public because “the administration has decided to move forward on endangerment.” Carlin and Davidson are ordered not to communicate to the public their conclusion that the global warming theory is phony and not based on real science.
Obama has placed his administration on a fast-track to take control of every aspect of our lives, to takeover private business and turn individualism into an afterthought.
Obama is attempting to have us play by his rules, which are “Rules for Radicals.” Indeed!

Obama claimed that the average American would not bear the brunt of this historic tax-increase: he stated that instead ““It is paid for by the polluters who currently emit dangerous carbon emissions.”
Just compare this outrageous falsehood to Ronald Reagans’ famous quote:
“The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us.
Business doesn’t pay taxes, and who better than business to make this message known? Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business.”
And after the way the rammed this through the House with little debate, without legislators even reading it… and while quarantining the GOP from any meaningful input whatsoever, any foolhardy individuals who still believe Obama’s threadbare “bipartisanship” spiel ought to have their head examined.

Sad to say, we live in a country with at least 52% of the voting public as drones.
